Remembering Dash Crofts (1940-2026)

Seals and Crofts came to be the very emblem of “soft rock” creating songs that became as ubiquitous as any chart topper. “Summer Breeze” in 1972 and “Diamond Girl” in 1973 were their biggest hits. Darrell “Dash” Crofts, died Wednesday from complications during heart surgery. He was 85.
